Two months after her Olympic mountain bike title, Pauline Ferrand-Prévot will make her return to the road during the road race of the Zurich World Championships, scheduled for September 28.
This Monday, the French team announced the selection of the 32-year-old Tricolore. Versatile to the extreme, the Frenchwoman has 15 world champion titles in all cycling disciplines. Focused on mountain biking since 2019, she still has a world champion title on the road, in 2014. An accomplishment to which must be added her two French champion titles (2014, 2015) in addition to her three national crowns in the time trial (2012, 2013, 2014).
In the selection, Ferrand-Prévot will be supported by Cédrine Kerbaol (Ceratizit), winner of a stage of the last Tour de France, Juliette Labous (DSM-Firmenich), Marion Bunel (St Michel-Mavic) and three representatives of the FDJ-Suez team: Evita Muzic, Léa Curinier and Jade Wiel.
In August, the cyclist signed a three-year contract starting in 2025 with Dutch outfit Visma-Lease a Bike, with the aim of “winning the women’s Tour de France”.
