Endomines announced promising results – CEO: “Confirms our belief in the region’s high gold potential”

A mining company Endomines announced the results related to the summer 2024 drilling program in Hosko, in the northern part of the Karelia gold line.

The program consisted of 23 holes with a total length of 2905 meters. The purpose of the program was to test the distribution and continuity of high grade gold mineralization in the 1.2 kilometer long Hosko gold rich zone.

According to the company, the results confirm that Endomines has discovered two new high-grade areas in the vicinity of Hosko’s recently opened mine.

The high-concentration areas now found in the Hosko area are located 100 and 1000 meters north of the Hosko mine. These high-concentration areas require further work to assess mining potential.

Highlights from Hosko’s summer 2024 drilling program

  • Drill hole HOS-125 penetrated 4.85 meters grading 5.01 g/t gold starting at 36.80 meters.
  • Drill hole HOS-123 drilled 5.70 meters grading 2.96 g/t gold from 95.4 metres, including 1.80 meters grading 8.35 g/t gold from 96.50 metres.
  • Drill hole HOS-115 penetrated 2.30 meters grading 6.10 g/t gold starting at 82.45 meters.
  • Drill hole HOS-126 penetrated 1.10 meters at a grade of 11.10 g/t gold starting at 81.00 meters.

“The research results were promising”

“The discovery of new high-grade areas in Hosko strengthens our belief in the area’s high gold potential. We believe that Hosko will become a long-lived basic pillar for our gold production”, CEO of Endomines Kari Vyhtinen says in the announcement.

Endomines starts a drilling program in Kartitsa, which is located 6.5 kilometers north of the Hosko mine.

At the beginning of August, the company reported the results of drilling in the area, according to which 2.76 grams of gold per ton were found in one hole at a distance of 10.05 meters. In the second hole, 2.06 grams of gold per ton was found at a distance of 8.40 meters.

The purpose of the drilling to be started now is to monitor these results.

Endomines is currently drilling in Kuittila as well. These drillings will continue at the same time as the Kartitsa drilling program that is starting now. 17 holes with a total length of 3295 meters have been drilled in Kuittila so far.

“Kartitsa’s first research results announced in August were so promising that we decided to start a new drilling program in the area immediately. There is an unexplored area of about 500 meters between the best gold drillings in the area, which we will now focus on,” commented the CEO.
