An Iranian official: “Raisi’s helicopter may have crashed as a result of a beeper explosion”

He noted that “Iranian elements were involved in the purchase of Hezbollah’s radios, and therefore the Iranian intelligence services must investigate the matter.” Referring to possible scenarios, Ardestani speculated that “it is possible that Israel discovered that two of the radios were under wiretapping, or that it acted out of anger at Hezbollah’s attack on an important intelligence facility.”

Finally, Ardestani made a surprising hypothesis about the death of the former Iranian president, Ibrahim Raisii n a helicopter crash that the explosion of his walkie-talkie may have been the cause of the disaster, although he stressed that there is no certainty about this scenario.
