Neymar – Return to team training

Brazilian professional soccer player Neymar is about to make a comeback after a year-long injury break. On Instagram, the 32-year-old announced to his 224 million followers that he was returning to team training at his club Al-Hilal. “I’m happy to be back with the group,” wrote Neymar alongside several pictures that show him on the pitch alone and with his teammates. Neymar moved from Paris Saint-Germain to Saudi Arabia for 90 million euros in the summer of 2023, but only played five games for Al-Hilal before he tore his cruciate ligament and meniscus in World Cup qualifying with Brazil on October 17th tore left knee. Without the attacker, who is estimated to earn 100 million euros a year, Al-Hilal won the championship.

After his operation last year, Neymar started running training in July. It is not clear when he will return to his club’s squad; he has not yet registered for the league, but could play in the Asian Champions League. Brazil’s national coach Dorival Junior recently asked for patience when he did not call up Neymar for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Chile and Peru.
