“There is no philosophy: “Kylian does what he wants” »

There are many moments of complicity with his staff. The images in the series depict a coach permanently glued in front of his screens, analyzing the game. Like this moment when he debriefs the first Champions League match of the 2023-2024 season against Dortmund (2-0). “What a shit center,” he exclaims about an action by Ousmane Dembélé before finally complimenting the Frenchman: “That dribble, only Ous can do it. » “If I could speak directly to the players on the field with a microphone, I would love it,” he said later in the episode.

But one of the main files of course concerns his relationship with Kylian Mbappé, the most anticipated behind the scenes of this series. “I carry out all the club’s decisions. Whether I share them or not, I execute them,” says Luis Enrique at the start of the season, when the striker is still dismissed by PSG. Delighted to get him back in the following matches, the 54-year-old coach nevertheless confides his philosophy: “Being strong with the weak, everyone can do it.
