Ballack spoke up: My girlfriend was not my late son’s girlfriend. I will take legal action

We remember Michael Ballack (48) as a legendary German soccer player, but in recent years he has been filling the newspaper columns with some other events from his life. Three years ago, his son Emilio died after he overturned on a quad bike, and in the last few days, the German media have written that the former player Bayer, Bayern and Chelsea found comfort in the best friend of the late son.

As Bild wrote, Ballack is moreć two years in a relationship with model Sophia Schneiderhan (23), who is 25 years younger than him. Some claimed that she was his late son’s best friend, and they even went so far as to claim that she was also his girlfriend. The former German soccer player finally spoke out, confirmed that they are in a relationship, but denied some things.

– Regarding the media articles, I felt the need to clarify something: My partner Sophia is neither the ex-girlfriend of my deceased son, nor were they friends. We will take legal action against these untruths and demand that our privacy be respected – he wrote on Instagram.

Ballack played for Kaiserslautern, Bayer Leverkusen, Bayern and Chelsea in his career. He won four Bundesligas, three German Cups, one Premier League, but was left without many trophies. With Germany, he lost in the World Cup and European Championship finals, while with Bayer and Chelsea he lost in the Champions League final.
