Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh will attend the 44th and 45th ASEAN Summits and related summits in Laos next week.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh’s business trip to Vientiane took place on October 8-11 at the invitation of Lao Prime Minister and 2024 ASEAN Chairman Sonexay Siphandone, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in today’s announcement.

The conference, titled “Strengthening ASEAN connectivity and resilience”, will include about 20 activities and will be held at the Lao National Convention Center, with the participation of leaders of ASEAN countries and partners, and many guests who are representatives of international and regional organizations.

This is the most important series of ASEAN Summits of the year, an opportunity for leaders of ASEAN countries and partners to exchange and make strategic decisions to strengthen the process of building community and promoting relations. between ASEAN and its partners, as well as discussing many regional and global issues.

About 80 documents will be approved or acknowledged by leaders. The countries affirmed that they will coordinate closely with the host country to ensure that the conference takes place successfully, effectively and substantively.
