The US does not advise Israel to strike Iran’s oil fields

The President of the United States, Joe Biden, announced yesterday that there is still no decision regarding the method of Israel’s response to the missile attack by Iran, but he did not recommend striking Iran’s oil fields.

“In their place, I would think about alternatives to hitting the oil wells,” Biden said during a White House briefing.

A day ago, the US president said that the possibility of striking the oil fields is being discussed.

Biden also said yesterday that Israel has not yet decided what to do in response to Iran’s October 1 mass missile launch. He stressed that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu should remember the support provided to his country by the United States before deciding on the next steps, and added that he is trying to unite the world to avoid a full-scale war in the Middle East.

During a sermon on Friday, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said that Israel’s missile strikes were legal and “if necessary” Iran would do it again.

In response to the massive rocket attack on October 1, Israel threatens Iran with a counterattack. “Iran made a big mistake and will pay for it. We will remain faithful to the rules we have established: whoever attacks us, we will attack him too,” Netanyahu stated in particular.
