A Finnish group made a film about director Richard Stanley and the mystical Montségur area

The Finnish filmmakers went to get to know the “unique ghoul concentration” of southern France, guided by a director who enjoyed a cult reputation. They couldn’t guess what kind of adventure the project would turn out to be.

”Se was such an Indianajones trip of my own life”, the director Take Tiainen says.

The destination of the trip was the Montségur region in the French Pyrenees. Tiainen and the reporters went on the trip Perttu Häkkinen and Panu Hietaneva.

The area has long been a destination for many kinds of secret seekers. It has been combined with stories from the Holy Grail to UFOs. Author Dan Brown used the myths of the region Da Vinci -koodi in his novel.
