Brazil beats Argentina and wins sixth place in the Futsal World Cup

Only four other countries also took the title: Spain (2000 and 2004), Argentina (2016) and Portugal (2021).

In the most recent disputes, the Argentines were finalists three times. They beat Russia eight years ago and lost to the Portuguese in 2021. Brazil have not reached the final since they were last champions, in Thailand, where they defeated the Spanish in the final, with Falcão still on the court.

The most recent victorious campaign, in Uzbekistan, crowns an undeniable trajectory. The team won the six matches they played until the decision, with 38 goals scored and only five conceded.

Even so, beating Argentina would not be an easy task, as the Albiceleste team also showed strength throughout the championship, reaching the final undefeated, with 29 goals scored and ten conceded.
