Sinner, Kyrgios says no to doubles. But no one asked him

Nick Kyrgios in doubles with Jannik Sinner? Never. The Australian tennis player was the harshest in relation to the doping case involving the Italian. Sinner, who tested positive for the anabolic steroid Clostebol, was acquitted by an independent tribunal. The World Anti-Doping Agency has appealed to the CAS, asking for a 1-2 year ban for the world number 1.

Kyrgios, since the beginning of the affair, has called for exemplary sanctions against the Italian and never misses an opportunity to accuse Sinner. The latest jab comes with an answer to a follower’s question on Instagram. “A double with Sinner?” asks the user. “I only play with clean players”, the response of the Australian, who would instead be willing to pair up with Novak Djokovic. “But Kokki will always take precedence,” he says, referring to his compatriot Thanasi Kokkinakis.
