November 7, 2024 will see the debut of Mario & Luigi: Charging Brothers on Nintendo Switch, an eagerly awaited RPG adventure that brings the famous pair of brothers back onto the scene. With an official note, Nintendo announces the release of new trailer, titled “Mario & Luigi: Charging Brotherhood – Electricity awaits!“, revealing what awaits players in this vibrant world.
A mysterious power has fractured the world of Elettria, separating it into numerous islands. The protagonists, Mario and Luigi, must join them by embarking on an adventure on Solcamari Island, a unique place that combines elements of ship and island. Using a cannon, the two brothers can catapult themselves to different islands, exploring environments ranging from lush tropical rainforests to bustling cities. During their journey, Mario and Luigi will meet new allies, such as Condina and Presus, and familiar characters from the Mushroom Kingdom, including Peach and Bowser.

To reunite Elettria, players will have to take advantage of Mario and Luigi’s brotherly bond. Through cooperative actions, such as uniting in a sphere or throwing fire and ice balls, the two brothers will face challenges and obstacles. During battles, players will be able to use powerful combo attackssuch as Dynamic Thunder, which introduces an energetic approach to turn-based combat, where timing and strategy are essential to defeating enemies.
The power of Luigi’s creative mind manifests itself through his Intuition, providing assistance during exploration and boss battles. While his flashes of genius may be unusual, they are essential for solving puzzles, collecting items, and dealing significant damage to enemies.
