Garegin Baghramyan, the president of the PSC, has resigned

Garegin Baghramyan, the chairman of the Public Services Regulatory Commission, submitted an application for dismissal, the structure’s spokesperson Lianan Azizyan confirms.

He held the position of the chairman of the commission since 2019. The committee did not comment on the reasons for Baghramyan’s resignation.

Yesterday, the government reported that a consultation was held under the leadership of Prime Minister Pashinyan about “problems related to the quality of electricity supply and the possibilities of their solution”, during which the officials presented the current situation, and Pashinyan emphasized the importance of quality electricity supply to subscribers.
