Israel’s military expenditures for the year of war are 103.4 billion shekels.

According to the Israeli Ministry of Finance, as of the end of September, the government budget deficit over the past 12 months increased by 8.8 billion shekels compared to August and amounted to 166 billion shekels, or 8.5% of GDP.

The deficit is expected to begin to decline by the end of the year, but analysts do not believe it will fall to the 6.6% outlined in the 2024 state budget.

Government spending since the beginning of the year amounts to 450 billion shekels, 31.2% more than a year ago. Including 51 billion shekels were spent in September.

Military spending since the beginning of the year has amounted to 78 billion shekels, and since the beginning of the war – 103.4 billion shekels.
