34 hidden bags of drugs destined for Croatia were discovered in a truck in Panama, a country in Latin America, local investigators reported.
The bags, probably filled with cocaine, were stuffed into the cylinders, the hollow metal tubes of the truck.
“During the raid and search of the truck, 34 plastic bags suspected of containing drugs were discovered,” announced the Panamanian Public Ministry (Ministerio Publico), a state institution that deals with the investigation of criminal offenses. .
On the social network X published photos of metal tubes and transparent plastic bags containing white powder. The truck was stopped in an area near the city of Colon, which is located near the sea.
“The bags should have been transferred to a container and sent to Croatia,” the announcement stated. After finding the bags, the police detained one person whose identity has not been published.
