Israel launched at least 10 airstrikes on the southern suburbs of Beirut on the morning of November 1, AFP reports, referring to Lebanon’s official news agency.
It is noted that Israel urged the evacuation of several buildings in the zone of influence of “Hezbollah”.
“Hezbollah” is recognized as a terrorist organization by the US, the EU has included only its armed wing in its blacklist, but not the political one, which has members in the Lebanese parliament.
AFPTV video shows footage of the explosion on the outskirts of the city.
In recent weeks, the Israeli army has repeatedly bombed the southern parts of Beirut, while carrying out deadly attacks elsewhere in the capital and in various parts of Lebanon.
According to AFP, at least 1,829 people have been killed in Lebanon since September 23, when Israel began airstrikes on Hezbollah positions.
Earlier, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with officials from the United States to discuss the possibility of ending the war in Lebanon.
