For its part, the Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed this Monday new fighting in Kursk. “The troops have repelled two enemy counteroffensives in Novoivanovka and attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine towards the towns of Leonidovo and Plekhovo,” he reported.

Casualties among the Ukrainian ranks have exceeded 350 men in the last 24 hours. According to Moscow’s calculations, since the start of the operation in Kursk, Ukraine has lost more than 29,600 servicemen.

In recent days, the United States and the United Kingdom have confirmed the presence of at least 10,000 North Korean soldiers.
