This year the Organizing Committee awarded one special prize (20 million VND reward), five first prizes (15 million VND), 10 second prizes (10 million VND), 30 third prizes (8 million VND) and 60 consolation prizes ( 5 million VND).

The special prize of this year’s competition is the model of Cu Chi tunnels by a group of students from Cau Giay Secondary School (Hanoi). Products are made of plaster, cardboard and recycled, environmentally friendly materials. The group created a cross-section of the tunnel with 5 sides illustrating details on the ground and inside the tunnel, helping visitors visualize the entire life of Cu Chi’s soldiers and people, as well as the fierce nature of the tunnel. Resistance against France and America.

Luu Bao Chau, a student of class 9A7, representative of the group, said that the product using solar batteries is very environmentally friendly. The team uses human presence sensors to program controls to turn on and off, run and stop programs to help save energy and create the best experience for users.

At locations in the tunnels, the group placed nameplates and created QR codes for users to look up extended information, participate in games and interactive questions to increase historical knowledge. With this model, the group aims to bring history closer to students, giving them a completely new experience when approaching this subject. The group hopes that the model can combine with travel companies to introduce to tourists, helping them experience historical sites when they do not have the conditions to physically visit them.

In the future, the team plans to create different versions of the tunnels with smaller sizes, suitable for different teaching conditions. The team plans to apply advanced technology such as VR to help users experience the application as if they were moving in a real tunnel, using multiple languages to serve a variety of visitors.

The website Khoahocvui, designed by a group of middle school students in Hanoi, is one of the products that won first prize in the competition. The website is equipped with a 3D virtual laboratory based on Unity and WebGL technology to help students who do not have the opportunity to do practical experiments to participate to experience and learn.

With a design close to reality, the 3D virtual laboratory is simulated based on Unity and WebGL technology. Here, users can do their own experiments from a bank of nearly 200 chemical compounds such as metals, non-metals, acids, bases, salts, metal oxides, non-metal oxides… Users choose their own options. participating substances from the chemical bank, thereby producing more than 5,000 colorful chemical reactions with phenomena such as rising gases, forming precipitates, fire reactions, explosions, dangers… to Silent, gentler reactions such as acid-base reactions…

The 3D virtual laboratory will help users have the same experience as when performing experiments in a real laboratory.

Winning third prize in the competition, a group of students from Gia Rai High School (Bac Lieu) left an impression with the Salt Scratch Robot designed by Cao Kim Ngan and Phan Kim Cuong. The robot has the ability to run automatically, semi-automatically or remotely, and is equipped with simple sensors such as contact sensors to run and stop at the right location.

The robot will rake salt into two furrows on both sides of its body. After raking each lane, the robot can move horizontally or vertically to conveniently operate on the salt field. In particular, the robot’s moving speed is fast and the motor is strong, so its raking productivity is 5-6 times that of manual workers. In order for the robot to run automatically, the team equipped it with a PLC industrial programmable controller. This is a durable device that runs stably in harsh conditions, so it is suitable for salt production.
