Harris focuses on Pennsylvania and Trump travels through three states on the last day of the campaign

The last day of the electoral campaign in the United States will be distributed among some of the states that are called to mark the political future of the country and while the magnate Donald Trump has distributed events in North Carolina, Michigan and Pennsylvania, Vice President Kamala Harris has chosen to concentrate on the latter territory.

Pennsylvania is one of the so-called ‘swing states’, the name by which those states are known that do not clearly lean towards one of the two major parties. The Democrats won by a narrow margin in 2020 – 1.2 percentage points – and Harris aims to retain Pennsylvania and win the 19 representatives at stake in this state for the Electoral College.

The vice president’s final agenda includes both interviews and rallies, with two big closings in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia in which she will be accompanied by public figures such as Katy Perry, Oprah Winfray and Lady Gaga, among others, CNN reports.

Trump, for his part, begins the day in Raleigh, North Carolina, before jumping to Reading, Pennsylvania, two hours before his rival appears in this same town. In Pittsburgh it will also be a couple of hours ahead of another Harris event, while the end of the campaign will take place in Grand Rapids, Michigan, accompanied by the ‘number two’ of her candidacy, Senator JD Vance.

The two candidates have also continued to publish on social networks to encourage the population to vote, although more than 75 million people have exercised their right to vote early, including the current president, Joe Biden. Kamala Harris has also revealed that she has voted by mail before the big day.
