PSG-Atlético Madrid: the Parisian group almost complete before the shock in the Champions League

After a light session and treatment on Sunday, the Paris Saint-Germain players met this Monday morning at 11 a.m. to start the fourth Champions League match of the season. To prepare for the reception of Atlético Madrid on Wednesday, Luis Enrique was able to count on an almost complete group. Apart from Lucas Hernandez and Gonçalo Ramos who are refining their individual recovery and Presnel Kimpembe, who hopes to appear in a group at the beginning of December, if all goes well, there was no absentee to deplore.

For the arrival of the Colchoneros, Luis Enrique’s starting lineup should contain few surprises. At the forefront, Marco Asensio seems to be a step ahead of Kang-in Lee, whose great impression against Rennes (3-1, September 27) in this position has since faded. Lacking efficiency against Lens on Saturday, the Spaniard still showed good disposition.

In the middle, the rest of Warren Zaire-Emery should not extend. Facing a compact block, his ball handling and verticality could be an asset. He should find Joao Neves and Vitinha in the midfield and also bring his physical qualities. Behind finally, no mysteries since Luis Enrique has his typical defense with Hakimi, Marquinhos, Pacho and Nuno Mendes.

Probable composition of PSG: Donnarumma – Hakimi, Marquinhos (cap.), Pacho, Nuno Mendes – Zaïre-Emery, Vitinha, Neves – Dembélé, Asensio, Barcola.
