Israeli attack on Sidon, 4 UNIFIL peacekeepers injured

Four peacekeepers of the mission Unifil they remained wounded in an Israeli attack as their patrol passed near Sidon, Lebanon. According to Lebanese state media, it happened when Israeli bombs targeted a car at the entrance to the city of Sidon in the south of the country. The National Information Agency (ANI) reported an “enemy attack on a car” at the entrance to Sidon, in which four peacekeepers were injured.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said that around 40 rockets were fired from Lebanon, some of which were shot down, while others hit the national territory. Sirens from incoming rockets went off in the Haifa Bay area and in the Upper and Western Galilee, the Times of Israel newspaper reported. At the moment there is no news of any victims or damage.
