France has protested to North Korea regarding the arrival of troops in Russia

Christophe Lemoine, the representative of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated that North Korea’s involvement in military operations on the territory of Russia will not go unanswered, Reuters reports.

“We are ready to react strongly, in agreement with our partners,” the representative of the French Foreign Ministry told reporters, answering the question about possible sanctions against Pyongyang.

France does not have diplomatic relations with North Korea. The chief representative of the DPRK is accredited to the UNESCO headquarters in Paris.

Earlier, the President of Ukraine and the Minister of Defense, and then the Ministry of Defense of South Korea, confirmed the information about the first clashes between the armed forces of Ukraine and North Korean soldiers in the Kursk region.

Earlier, the Pentagon reported that there are at least 10,000 North Korean soldiers in the Kursk region, who are believed to be participating in hostilities or providing support to Russian forces.
