The former fighter Wanderlei Silva fan of Coritiba said he will pay 200 draft beers in a bar in Curitiba after losing a bet related to the Athletico. Legend of Pride and the UFCthe Curitiba native revealed the situation in a post on Instagram (see below).
“I saw a post these days from a bar that would give 200 draft beers if Athletico beat São Paulo. I, as a good white thigh, said that I would give 200 draft beers if Athletico lost”, said Wanderlei, who mocked the setback by 2 to 1 for São Paulo.
“They were yellow as always, lost the match and, consequently, I lost the bet”continuou Wand.
“So, I’m going to pay for the 200 draft beers at the bar so we can celebrate Athletico’s relegation together”, added the former fighter, who took advantage and also asked his followers to help him foot the bill.
Athletico is experiencing a delicate situation in the Brasileirão
After losing to São Paulo, Athletico remains in the relegation zone of the Brasileirão, with 34 points in 33 games. Now, Furacão has six more matches to try to avoid falling to Series B.
The Baixada team has three points less than Juventude, Criciúma and Fluminense, the three teams that are on the edge of the relegation zone.
Bragantino opens the group of the last four with 36 points. Vitória, with 38 points, and Grêmio, with 39, appear at the bottom of the classification.
However, the red-blacks’ great hope is that Furacão will have one game less than their rivals. In other words, Athletico can match the trio with 37 points. To do this, they need to beat Atlético-MG, in a game scheduled for next Saturday (16), at 6:30 pm, at the Ligga Arena, in Curitiba.
