Such is Janne Puhaka’s last episode in Petollis

Four of them reality TV series Traitors the saga finally came to a conclusion on Sunday.

The show of the entertainment series was suspended in October, when the hockey player and the role model of the rainbow community Janne Puhakka died suddenly as a victim of a suspected homicide in his home.

The final episode was shown at the request of Puhaka’s relatives.

Showing the final episode of the competition in its original week of airing was not deemed appropriate by series production, although there was nothing in the episode’s content that could not have been shown due to the tragedy.

At the beginning and end of the episode, texts honoring Puhaka’s memory were seen. According to the production, no other changes have been made to the episode.

International based on the hit format Traitors is a mystery series in which 18 public figures in Finland participate. They are divided into “traitors” and “faithful”. In competition, only the cheaters know who the other cheaters are. The job of the faithful is to try to find the traitors among them and vote them out of the competition before they are eliminated themselves.

Janne Puhaka became a fraudulent radio host Jone Nikulan and a drag artist Cristal Snow’n thanks to them, because they were first chosen by the two of them to the “dark side”. Later, the two had the opportunity to pick one of the loyalists and turn him into a traitor. The two decided to choose Puhaka, a suitably neutral guy, whom no one would perhaps suspect of being treacherous.

A successful tactical bet in the sense that the progress of the cheaters in the race seemed to be progressing very well, until Puhakka started to play Nikula out.

Quickly it turned out that Puhakka was making his own plans: first Nikula out, then Snow. However, Puhakka guessed that Snow’s own nerves will fail at some point, and he doesn’t really have to do anything about it. Right before the final episode, Puhakka voted out the rapper Uniik, ie Dan Tolppanena self-recruited traitor.

Puhakka seemed to know how to usually do best in the game: keeping a low profile and betraying at least one traitor at some point. He proved to be a master at planting seeds of doubt in the minds of other players, quietly feeding various observations, views and “evidence” of people’s treachery.

In the final episode, Puhakka changed his tactics a little before the last vote.

Puhakka said he was ready to share the winning pot with Snow as well, and he did not vote his rival out in the last votes. However, Snow fell ahead of Puhakka with the majority of the votes cast by other players.

Series the decision is happy, because the good in the competition, i.e. the faithful, win. The winning pot of 20,000 euros will be distributed among the Green MPs Fatim Diarrana social media influencer Miisa Nuorgam and the artist Ramses II:n, eli Rami Shikebenin between.

Puhakka comes fourth in the competition, when Nuorgam connects his clues and makes the others realize that Puhakka is deceitful.

“Thank you for the journey together. Damn well played. I have nothing to add”, Puhakka utters his last words in the competition, moved.

The game ends and the faithful cheer.

Puhaka can still be considered one of the winners of the competition. Or at least as an exemplary player.

Puhakka didn’t make a fuss about himself in the series. He was calm and kind to everyone. One that is easy to trust. And who, despite his cunning game tactics, was loyal to his fellow competitor.
