A young leopard hunted a large prey and tried unsuccessfully three times to put it in a tree to hide it.
The moment a leopard tries to hide its prey was captured by nature lover Vincent Adami in Kruger Park, South Africa. He spent many hours in the bush and recorded.
Vincent Adami witnessed a young leopard lying next to its newly hunted prey and seemed still exhausted after the hunt.
Resting a bit, the leopard stood up and began dragging the impala towards the nearest tree. Compared to the leopard, the impala is very large. Despite the prey being nearly twice its body size, the leopard still slowly brought it up the tree. However, it fell down soon after.
The leopard persisted and tried again after each fall. On the third try, the leopard tried his best but couldn’t. This time the prey did not fall to the ground but got stuck on a tree stump protruding from under the tree. Leopards had to accept and enjoy their prey on the spot.
