“Resta cu’ me” by Emanuel Ceruti, the book by the young web comic phenomenon

From Friday 15 November it will be available in all bookstores “Stay with me” the first book by Emanuel Cerutia young web comic phenomenon with thousands of followers as well as a theater actor, author, creator and tik toker among the most loved and followed in Italy. The book coming out from Cairo Editore, already available for pre-order in all digital stores, analyzes with disarming spontaneity the sensations and feelings that revolve around the multiple declinations of love in all its forms.

Emanuel Ceruti is an artist on the 2WATCH roster, a content creator who tells the daily life of the new generations in an ironic way. It arrived on TV in 2018 with Made in Sud, the famous live prime time program on Rai, and then continued this path in the following two editions. At the same time he cultivated his passion for theater with comedies written and directed by him: Skeletons in the Wardrobe, Double Check Blue and finally his great debut at the Augusteo theater with Hole.

“Resta cu’ me is a book in which many can find themselves – declares Emanuel Ceruti – in fact, many of us have had to fight for love at least once in our lives, even out of fear of the possible end of a relationship. the Novel revolves around the multiple declinations and facets of love, understood in its most universal meaning, immersing us in love stories and entanglements in which we have lost and found ourselves, that love which, precisely because of the emotions with which it nourishes us in some moments of the day when you stop to think it makes you feel “small” and in others it makes you feel like a “giant”. Resta cu’ me is also intended to be a sort of slogan: you shouldn’t be afraid to express your emotions and fragility, the important thing is to always act in a true and authentic way. I’m in love with love – continues Ceruti – I admit that I am a romantic, raised on Disney classics and those romantic comedies of the 2000s, in today’s times love has changed shape, at times it is superficial, hence the artistic need to write this first book of mine, a tribute to that love with a capital L, 360-degree love in which the reader can get lost among plots, episodes and stories of great loves”

Through “Stasta cu’ me” he continues his new artistic and personal journey, even more introspective, in which he shows his true essence for the first time, without fear of also showing the fragilities that a young boy can encounter. Thanks to a new and mature awareness of himself and of his being an artist, Emanuel questions and analyzes with a disarming spontaneity the different phases of a love relationship which in the course of its development can experience multiple nuances, from pure love and carefree to melancholy and uncertain about the future due to fear of a possible end.

“The smartphone on the bedside table continues to vibrate but Ciro barely has the strength to turn it off. It’s not just the tiredness that makes it impossible for him to wake up, it’s also the dream he was having that has something to do with it: he wished it wouldn’t end. But dreams cannot be put on hold like TV series and so he is forced to return to reality, over which a gray cloud hovers despite the Naples sun shining outside. Next to him, however, Sara’s presence manages as always to light up the room. They’ve been together for six years already, but there isn’t a day when he doesn’t find himself more and more in love… he even loves her flaws… Meanwhile, it’s up to Ciro to perform the sacred ritual of coffee: that morning he needs a massive dose. He brings the still steaming cup into the room for his girlfriend and the contours of the day slowly begin to take shape in the fog.
