Fijian boxer Ubayd Haider25, has died, the news agency says, among other things AP.
Just over two weeks ago, Haider fought a Chinese in the title match of the upper featherweight division of the IBO Asia-Pacific region Zhou Runqita24, against. The match ended dramatically in the ninth inning when Haider lost consciousness.
Haider was in a coma since October 26 and died on Monday. Wife of Haider formerly known as Nathan Singh Helen Singh confirmed her husband’s death on Monday in a social media post, according to AP.
“I thank God wonderfully for 25 years of your life and the last five years you spent with me. Thank you for loving me and thank you for the wonderful memories together. Thank you for giving me the best gift imaginable, our beautiful boys,” Singh wrote.
Media information according to Haider, after a dramatic match, he underwent brain surgery, after which he fell into a coma.
