Madness in Argentina, two Rosario ultras killed after the match

Follia in Argentina: dTwo Rosario Central fans were killed, hit by gunfire near the stadium at the end of a championship match lost 1-0 at home against San Lorenzo. According to local TV Cadena 3 and various national media, the victims are the head of the ‘Barrabrava’ of the Rosario, Andres ‘Pillin’ Bracamonteand another member of the ultras group. The two were victims of an ambush near the Gigante de Arroyito stadium in Rosario.

During his 25 years at the helm of Rosario’s ‘Barrabrava’, Bracamonte had suffered around thirty assassination attempts, according to media reports. He had appeared in court on Friday for sexual assault, for which the prosecution had asked for two years in prison.

 

He was also prosecuted for extortion, conspiracy and money laundering. According to the “Salvemos al Futbol” association, 352 fans have died since the creation of the Argentine professional league.
