The association of car repair shops filed a lawsuit with the Supreme Court against the government

An association of car repair shops filed a claim in the High Court of Justice against the Ministry of Transport, the Capital Market Supervision Authority and the association of insurance companies.

In their lawsuit to the High Court, car repairers demand the cancellation of the reform, under which insurance companies will pay customers the cost of repairs in accordance with the real cost of spare parts, and not with their cost in the importer’s price list.

The difference in price is tens of percent and in some cases can reach 60%.

At the same time, the reform provides for expanding the list of car repair shops with which insurance companies must enter into agreements.

The plaintiffs argue that the reform will effectively mean the death of workshops that will not have agreements with insurance companies.
