Israel kills Hezbollah commanders in southern Lebanon

The Israeli Army continues to operate in parts of Lebanon to eradicate the Hezbollah threat against the country. In a statement this Wednesday (13), the Defense Forces (FDI) announced the elimination of three commanders responsible for attacks against neighboring territory.

“Muhammad Musa Salah, Ayman Muhammad Nabulsi and Hajj Ali Yussef Salah, Hezbollah field commanders from Khiam, Tebnit and Ghajar were eliminated in two separate attacks,” the military said.

In the note, Israel details that “these terrorists directed numerous attacks against Israelis and were responsible for launching more than 2,500 projectiles against the areas of the Golan Heights, the Upper Galilee, the Galilee Panhandle and against the IDF troops operating in southern Lebanon.”

This Tuesday (12), the Israeli Air Force attacked more than 120 targets of the terrorist organizations Hamas and Hezbollah in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon.

In another statement, Tel Aviv announced that it had destroyed most of the militia’s weapons manufacturing and storage facilities in Beirut.

These facilities, which include factories and weapons warehouses, were built over the past two decades in the suburb of Dahiyeh, considered a Hezbollah stronghold in the Lebanese capital.

One of the sites destroyed was the group’s military complex, located under five residential buildings in Beirut, where around 50 families lived. The militia hideout was located near a school.
