Construction of a cruise terminal at Haifa port approved

The Haifa Municipal Design and Construction Commission has approved plans for the construction of a new passenger terminal at the port of Haifa, which will serve cruise ship passengers.

The terminal is scheduled to open in 2028 and will be able to serve about a million passengers a year.

The passenger terminal is an important part of the development plan for the coastal area in the western part of Haifa port, approved back in 2017.
