Lucas Ronier talks about the future and criticizes Coritiba’s mistakes

The midfielder Lucas Ronier criticized Coritiba’s performance in the comeback defeat to Chapecoense, this Sunday (17), at Arena Condá, in the 37th and penultimate round of Série B 2024.

Coxa took the lead, with a penalty goal from midfielder Josué in the first half, but suffered a comeback in the final stage, with goals from Perotti and Taryk determining the 2-1 defeat. Ronier regretted the new defeat.

“We came here to seek victory”, began the talented midfielder, in an interview with reporter Nicolas França, from Transamerica Radiostill at the exit of the Arena Condá lawn.

“We did well in the first half, but as always in the second half we come back off and scores a goal. It’s difficult to recover from there. Now it’s time to focus on 2025 to come stronger”, he analyzed.

Coritiba: After proposals, Lucas Ronier gives advice on the future

Midfielder Lucas Ronier was one of Coritiba’s few bright spots in the 2024 season. And he could bring profits to SAF in the next transfer market.

The player is the target of Brazilian and foreign clubs. In September, it received a proposal from Neom, from Saudi Arabia.

The expectation at Alto da Glória is that Lucas Ronier will represent the biggest sale in Alviverde history, surpassing the sale of Igor Paixão to Feyenoord, in 2022, for 8 million euros. After the defeat against Chape, Ronier spoke out about the future.

“It was a good year. Thank God I managed to perform well, help my team”, commented Ronier. “But this [propostas] I leave it to my staff. We will solve everything together”, he summarized.
