Jessica Simpson headed for divorce? “She’s heartbroken. They live apart”

In recent weeks, countless reports and rumors have surfaced that singer and fashion designer Jessica Simpson and her husband, former football player Eric Johnson, are divorcing. According to quite a few sources overseas, the two, who met 15 years ago and gave birth to three children together, have been living separately for some time – and are trying to understand what is happening between them.

“This is a very complex time for Jessica, she is heartbroken,” one source tells the “Ace Weekly” website – and adds: “It was not an easy decision for her.” Another source close to the couple says that Simpson (44) and Johnson (45) “live separately now”. It doesn’t end here, a third insider claims to Ace Weekly that the two are “trying to understand the separation without disrupting their children’s lives, as much as possible. They are still trying to understand what is happening.”

Despite the incessant rumors surrounding the couple, the two choose not to comment. But in the meantime, it seems that Simpson’s husband is only proving that there is truth to the reports, after he was spotted last week in Los Angeles – without his wedding ring. Simpson has also not been wearing her ring in recent months, according to records she recently uploaded on her social networks.

In May 2010, Simpson began dating Johnson. The couple got engaged in November 2010, and married in July 2014. The couple has three children: a daughter named Maxwell (12), a son named Ace (11) and a daughter named Birdie (5).

For those of you who have managed to forget, this will not be Simpson’s first divorce, as in November 2005 she and the star of the boy band “98 Degrees”, Nick Lashey, broke up after three years of marriage, no children.
