“This is a very special title, playing in Italy with the Italian public: I really wanted to do well. Last year we were very close to winning this trophy and we lost in the final, this year it’s a totally different feeling, winning in front of so many spectators is a great honor for me. Above all, a wonderful emotion, I want to thank you for the support and the public, especially when things aren’t going very well because I feel a lot of warmth and affection there”, says Sinner enjoying the victory.

“I’m pretty sure that at 23 you can’t be 100%, there are areas for improvement. It’s normal, no one at 23 was perfect, no one will be perfect.
