Rafael Nadal thirsts for one more trophy: “I’m not here for my retirement”

Tennis one of the greatest players of all time Rafael Nadal will end his professional career this week in front of his home crowd in the national team competition at the Davis Cup playoff stage in Malaga.

Nadal, who has won 22 singles grand slam tournaments in his career, has also celebrated four Davis Cup championships in Spain’s shirt (in 2004, 2009, 2011, 2019). Nadal said that he is fully focused on this week’s matches, and Spain’s quarterfinal match against the Netherlands is on the schedule right away on Tuesday.
