McDonald’s wants to win back lost customers in the US with a cheaper menu

For the first time in years, fast food chain McDonald’s is significantly adjusting its menu in the US. She hopes to win back customers who have dropped out due to the increased prices in recent years.

The fast food chain unveiled its McValue menu on Friday, which will only be offered in US restaurants starting January 7. As the name suggests, McDonald’s targets customers with a limited budget. The showpiece will be the $5 meal deal, which was launched earlier this year, consisting of a cheeseburger or sandwich, a small pack of fries, four chicken nuggets and a small drink. The menu also includes a buy one, get one for $1 option. This also includes breakfast.

McDonald’s is trying to boost growth again. The fast food chain has had some bad quarters and hopes to bring back customers who have dropped out due to increased prices – under pressure from inflation. The average price of treats has risen by approximately 40 percent over the past five years.
