In this way, the head of Government highlighted the commitment of industrialists and expressed his recognition, before the speech at the 30th Industrial Conference.
Macri also echoed the statements of the president of the UIA, Daniel Funes de Rioja, and noted that the opening of the meeting “is clearly full and not empty.”
At the beginning of the event, Funes de Rioja criticized the media that reflected the absence of the head of state.
“Since its creation, the UIA has been a pioneer in the defense and promotion of our industry, representing the culture of work and the entrepreneurial spirit, pillars that have made our City and our country great,” remarked the Buenos Aires president.
Strong response from the UIA to Javier Milei’s foul
The event, which takes place at the Buenos Aires Convention Center, will only have as one of the speakers, representing the National Cabinet, the Secretary of Production of the Palacio de Hacienda, Juan Pazo. The absence of Milei and Caputo generated noise among the businessmen present.

The businessman also complained about the “unfair attacks on the national business community” and pointed out that the sector is the one that generates employment and through the payment of taxes generates 30% of the national State’s revenue, for which he asked for respect for the sector. , which he defined as “the engine of dignified growth for the country.”
The UIA meeting has the motto: “A productive industry in a competitive country”, and brings together leaders from the private sector, representatives from the entire political spectrum and actors from the academic world, who come together to debate the most important issues for industry and the Argentine economy.
