Champions, Atalanta avalanched its Youg Boys. 6-1 for the Goddess

A convincing victory that brings Atalanta closer to qualifying for the Champions League round of 16. Atalanta overwhelms Young Boys 6-1 thanks to the show of De Ketelaere, author of a brace and three assists. Ganvoula’s equalizer in the 11th minute – which came from the development of a corner and after a reviewable intervention by Carnesecchi – was only an interlude in the Nerazzurri’s spectacle of the first half: in the 28th minute, again from a corner, De Ketelaere himself scored the overtaking goal with a turn that overtook Von Ballmoos for the second time.

The Belgian’s show continued throughout the first half, illuminating the ball for Kolasinac four minutes later, the Bosnian (returning to the field after a muscle problem) unleashed his left foot for the third goal of the evening. The poker arrived with Retegui’s brace, again from the former Milan player’s cross: he advanced with the tip and turned to strike a motionless defense, incapable of reacting to the offensive gusts of Gasperini’s men. The script practically didn’t change in the second half, Atalanta continued to dominate the game: not even Magnin’s two substitutions managed to give a shock, De Ketelaere took 11 minutes to sow panic and score the very poker (thanks also to the Camara deviation). In the final Samardzic closed the match with the sixth goal of the evening.
