Diversions by Boys and Torcida: BBB played songs on the Riva and painted it blue, the people of Split covered the ban

The biggest Croatian derby is approaching Hajduk i Dynamo. The match will be played at Poljud on Sunday at 17:45, and it will be the second derby of these two teams in the new season. The first, which took place in Maksimir, belonged to Splićani, who celebrated with a minimal victory of 1-0, with a goal So Foundries.

Hajduk enters the game as the first-placed player in the HNL, while the Blues are in third place. Neither team is in enviable shape. “Billy” did not win three rounds in a row, and the situation is the same with Dinamo. Despite this, tensions are at a high level. On this occasion, we remembered all the fan diversions that were Boys i Fan prepared for each other over the years. One of the more recognizable ones happened back in the 90s, when Torcida covered the bana Jelačića with a large Hajduk flag.

Dynamo flag on the bell tower of St. It blows

On the bell tower of the Cathedral of St. Duje in Split, before the big derby between Hajduk and Dinamo in September 2010, a huge “blue” flag was raised. The fans, not a branch of the Bad Blue Boys called the Agram Crew, put up a ten-meter flag right after the opening of the cathedral. She stayed there for about an hour, until Hajduk’s fans took her off. Additionally, they stuck stickers with the name of their group on the bell tower. Witnesses claim that when the Torcida fans saw the flag, they ran towards the bell tower and were shocked by the sight.

They wrote Hajduk in the snow of the Sava embankment

At the beginning of February 2012, when HNL had 16 clubs, old rivals fought for the top. At that time, on the Sava embankment not far from the HRT building in Prisavlje, the inscription Hajduk stamped in the snow appeared. Early morning travelers were surprised by the sight because the inscription was quite clearly visible from the other side of the Sava.

Dinamo’s fans quickly responded via social networks. In the photo of snowy Croatia, with the help of Photoshop, over almost the entire region they wrote the name Dinamo and added a comment: “Stanga from BBB Utrina and Kvrga from Volovčica got a little drunk on the way, and their GPS is a**, so the letters are a little uneven.”

Rođendanska čestitka in Zagreb

On the 111th birthday of February 13, 2022 in Zagreb, once again on Trg bana Josip Jelačića, which was a frequent target of Torcida fans, a huge Hajduk birthday cake dawned. The message “111 – HŽV” appeared on a crane located in the main square of Zagreb.

It is not known whether behind this message is a group that came to Zagreb from Split, or a group of fans of the Split club that otherwise resides in the capital of Croatia.

They lit blue smoke bombs in the middle of the Riva

On the eve of the derby in March 2022, the Split Riva was enveloped in blue smoke. The fans of Dinamo, i.e. the Boys, managed to do this by handing out smoke bombs and leaflets to the citizens with the instruction: “Everyone at the same time, pull for Hajduk.” When the citizens withdrew, the exact opposite happened, the blue Riva.

Torcida quickly answered. At Gradec in Zagreb, they put up a banner with the message: “You fans are an exception, matches are not played on Friday.” This event was a response to Torcida’s visit to Ban Josip Jela Square in December 2021. They decorated the main square with the banner “Hajduk lives forever”, which the Boys did not forget.

Dinamo’s songs echoed along the waterfront

On the day of the big derby in March of this year, the Boys again “sold” a similar performance and surprised the people of Split. In the middle of Split, they performed a “secret action” that shocked Torcida, Hajduk’s fans and passers-by. Dinamo’s songs began to be played in the center of Split. Dinamo fans organized an action that surprised passers-by and caused a shock among Hajduk’s fans. Torcida hastened to stop “Dinamo’s festival” on the Riva, but the songs were over. played for more than half an hour.
