BFMTV: Éric Brunet replaced by Maxime Switek in the evening

Four short months, and then it’s gone. According to our information, BFMTV will end “20h Brunet”, Éric Brunet’s show, at the end of December. A little thunderclap since this novelty was launched in August 2024, the result of the poaching of the 60-year-old journalist from LCI, where he had been working since 2020.

The new management of the 24-hour news channel has already found its successor in the person of Maxime Switek, who has been running the 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. channel since last January after five years in the evenings. Now it remains to find a replacement for him in the morning. Back from maternity leave, Julie Hammett holds the rope to return to her hut.
