The owner of the license to use the brand of the Dutch retail chain SPAR in Israel, Amit Zeev, announced that the first branch of the chain, which opened six months ago in Kfar Saba, will be open on Saturdays from next week.
The decision to start working on Saturdays followed a breakdown in cooperation between Ze’ev and billionaire Itzhak Mirilashvili.
However, as reported by The Marker, under the exclusive agreement, Ze’ev will continue to import only SPAR products that have a kosher certificate.
Ze’ev also intends to open three new branches of the chain in Tel Aviv in the near future.
