Former New York mayor and one of the richest people on the planet, Michael Bloomberg, announced the allocation of 100 million shekels to restore areas of the Israeli north damaged by Hezbollah rocket attacks.
At the same time, Bloomberg intends to take an active part in the project through the Bloomberg-Sagol Center he created at Tel Aviv University. The center has already attracted more than 60 professionals specialized in project management who will accompany northern municipalities.
Let us recall that current estimates of damage in the north amount to 2.5 billion shekels of direct damage and approximately the same amount of indirect damage.
