Las Vegas – Long prison sentence after freaking out in Las Vegas courtroom.

When judge Mary Kay Holthus (62) wanted to sentence the defendant Deobra Redden (31) for grievous bodily harm on January 3rd, the man went completely crazy. He jumps over the judge’s bench and attacks the lawyer as if she were out of her senses.

After the attack at Clark County District Court in Nevada (USA) Redden now had to answer for attempted murder. He pleaded guilty; but denied that the judge wanted to kill. He is mentally ill.

Conviction of attempted murder

The judge suffered minor injuries in the attack but did not need to be hospitalized. She herself said in that process as a witness, was still visibly moved by the events of that time.

The harsh verdict: Redden has to be behind bars for at least 26 years for attempted murder, among other things, and the maximum sentence is an incredible 65 years. The 31 year old vegas will not be able to apply for parole before 2050.
