Al-Julani: Syria’s situation does not allow entering into new conflicts

The leader of Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham, Ahmed al-Sharaa (Abu Muhammad al-Julani), said yesterday, Saturday: “The arguments with Israel have ended and the Israelis have crossed the lines of engagement in Syria,” indicating that Syria should not be led with a “revolution” mentality. Simultaneously, six Syrian shepherds were killed by gunfire from ISIS militants in the Homs desert in the center of the country, while 15 members of Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham were killed in an ambush carried out by gunmen in the village of Al-Muzayra’a in the countryside of Latakia. Al-Julani said in a television interview that “the Syrian revolution has been victorious, but Syria must not be led with a revolutionary mentality. There is a need for law and institutions. There is a need to transfer the mentality from the revolution to the state. The next stage is the stage of construction and stability,” according to Al-Julani.
