Drama near Varaždin: Someone broke into the cellar and spilled wine!

The police are looking for a man who broke into a man’s vineyard and spilled all the wine he had at parties, Danica.hr reports.

They state that the man did not steal anything butć dropped hundreds of liters of wine from the wooden barrel onto the tap, leaving the owner without the precious liquid for the holidays.

Everything happened in Donje Ladanje, between Varaždin and Ivanec, probably on Wednesday night.

– From December 17 to 18 in Donji Ladanje, an unknown perpetrator broke into a weekend house owned by a 64-year-old man. On that occasion, he did not steal anything, but dropped several hundred liters of wine from the cellar. The amount of material damage is estimated at around 700 euros – the police said.

They add that they are looking for an unknown perpetrator. In view of the burglary and the large material damage, he faces criminal charges.
