In the last financial year of 2023, the Spanish Film Library received around 20,000 euros in loans of copies and film funds.
This is detailed by the Executive in a parliamentary response to the Popular Group, which Europa Press has accessed, which consulted on the income from loans for the last year.
Furthermore, the Government indicates that the average period in which the Spanish Film Archive takes to resolve loan applications is two months, “although this period has never been exhausted.” In this case, the PP asked about the average time to resolve loan applications, at the same time as seeking to know if there is any entity or individual who has not attended to their request.
In this regard, the Executive explains that in film funds in 2024 there has been a loss of the person assigned to provide the service. In these cases, the resolution of what has already been committed has been assumed. However, the Government adds that, in non-film funds, all requests have been answered.
