Sinner is the most searched name on Treccani in 2024. Then Meloni and Trump

The first three most searched names in 2024 on the Treccani portal – which boasts over a million pages visited per day – were the number one in world tennis Jannik Sinner the Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and the president of the United States Donald Trump. Also in the top ten Ahoo Daryaei and Maura Delpero.

He could only be the strongest tennis player in the world, especially considering the extraordinary successes achieved, the most sought after in 2024: an expression of “pure tennis”, “predestined to dominate the next decade”, protagonist of “tennis of the highest level”. A success which, according to Treccani “has put Sinner in the spotlight since he was a teenager and this, in a country like Italy, means loading him with pressure and expectations and then trying to knock him down at the first mistake or the first unshared choice”.

 

Not far away, on the podium of the most clicked, Giorgia Meloni, the first woman in republican history to assume the position of president of the Council of Ministers.
