The success story of ÖSV star Stefan Kraft

3 Siege

Stefan Kraft celebrated at the tour’s opening competition in Oberstdorf. 2014, 2016 and 2024 – no other jumper has won more times in the Allgäu. The Austrian likes to be in the spotlight on the Schattenbergschanze: in 2021 he became world champion in Oberstdorf.

There are in the World Cup that are still a blank spot for the Pongau series winner and where he has not yet been able to jump onto the top podium. These include two touring beaks: Garmisch and the Bergisel. The other two ski jumps on which he did not win: Titisee-Neustadt and Willingen.

10 Mal

In his career, Stefan Kraft only experienced the final as a spectator. That is a remarkable rate; in a total of 312 starts in the World Cup, he finished in the points 302 times. Curious: In his most successful season to date with 13 wins, the Pongauer came away empty-handed twice last winter: 39th in Willingen, 49th in Lahti.

44 World Cup victories

the Austrian has been able to celebrate so far. This puts him in third place on the all-time best list. Only the Finn Matti Nykänen (46) and Gregor Schlierenzauer (53) were more successful. The ski jumping experts are sure: If anyone can surpass Schlierenzauer as number 1, it will be strength.

253,5 Meter

Kraft sailed far in Vikersund in 2017. He still holds the world record in ski flying to this day.

14,783 World Cup points

has gained strength throughout his career. Only Finn Janne Ahonen (15,758) has more.

2.169 million euros

The 31-year-old from Salzburg earned prize money alone. 2023/’24 was his most successful season with almost 400,000 euros.
