The leader of Turkish nationalists and Öcalan’s supporters met in Ankara

Leaders of the largest political force representing the interests of the Kurds living in Turkey, “People’s Party of Equality and Democracy” (DEM) met with the leader of the extreme right party “Nationalist Movement” Devlet Bahceli today in Ankara.

According to Turkish media, the meeting continued for about 40 minutes.

The meeting with the Turkish nationalists was attended by the leading members of the pro-Kurdish party who visited Abdullah Öcalan, the founder of the Kurdish Workers’ Party, in the prison of Imralı Island last week.

Today, the Kurdish figures also met with the Speaker of the Turkish Parliament, introducing him to the details of the meeting with Öcalan.
