In his most recent book, The dog that followed the stars (VR Editoras), the writer and philosopher Anna Sólyom presents a story of friendship, hope and magic of small situations that restore the joy of living.

In an interview, the Hungarian author, who lives in Barcelona, Spain, indicated that she was inspired to write the novel by a real case that occurred in the United States years ago, where a dog walked more than 4,500 kilometers to return home.

“The dog is a very inspiring being; It brings us many things that we need to tell. I collected 16 lessons that we can learn from our dog friends; Perhaps the best known is loyalty and unconditional love towards those who care for them.

Dogs and cats, or the pets we live with, make us feel more complete.

For Sólyom, in life there are always details that bring us joy, and When we lose that ability to enjoy them we feel bad mood or depression again. My mission is to help people connect with those details that allow them to live with that magic, to recognize the small things to give thanks at the end of the day.

In the book, the author tells the story of eternal friendship between a human being and a dog. It also tells of a long journey through the land of the living, and how the puppy who was trying to return home saved many souls along the way, leaving his mark forever.

Through the bond between the dog and its owner, Sólyom explores universal themes, such as loneliness, friendship, loss and hope.

In the novel, Roshi, A golden Labrador undertakes a moving and extraordinary journey across much of a country to reach his owner.

In the story, the writer shares testimonies of people who faced difficult situations and who, thanks to the company of a dog, managed to overcome them.

Anna Sólyom, who presented her book at the most recent Guadalajara International Book Fair, expressed that in the future she would like to venture into science fiction and fantasy stories. I’m still cooking that genre, which is very different.
